Speed Financial Group has been a family owned business for 18 years. The company was founded by tax return specialist, Tracy Speed, in 2002. Her nephew, Tyran Speed, later joined her in the company as a business partner. Their skill sets have been a strong compliment to each other, allowing them to prove a robust and well-rounded array of services for their clients.

Tyran started his accounting career with KPMG the 4th largest accounting firm in the world. Tyran received his Bachelors in Accounting from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and his Master’s in Accounting from East Carolina University. Tyran has a wide range of experience having prepared taxes for Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, and Non-Profit organizations.

Who We Are

Tracy Speed founded Speed Financial Group over 15 years ago and has been in the tax industry for over 40 years. Personally preparing taxes for her community on her own and through her many years at Jackson Hewitt, Tracy has prepared thousands of tax returns for individuals and businesses and has served clients from almost every state in the US. With her many years of experience, there is nothing she hasn’t seen.
